Clone Wars Theatrical Screening and Q+A w/Director Dave "Fab" Filoni!!

So last night Lucasfilm blessed NYC with the only east coast theatrical screening of the final two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 4 - "Brothers" and "Revenge." These episodes are so cool to see on the big screen, the effects look even more amazing and the sound is outta control!! The theatre was full of fans, big and small. There were even two young boys acting out a light saber battle scene and entertaining the audience pre-show.

The most special part of the whole night was having Dave Filoni, the Supervising Director of the Clone Wars on hand for a special Q + A session with the audience afterwards.  For nearly an hour, Dave answered questions about the return of Darth Maul, working for George Lucas and what we can expect in Clone Wars Season 5, coming out this September. "Maul, since his resurrection, will go through different transformations-starting with season four's spider form, then moving on to more familiar forms that help accent his traditional martial arts fighting style," Dave told us as even more hands raised up with questions from the audience.

And just when we thought the Q+A was over, Dave surprised the audience by showing us a special preview of Season 5 and it seriously looked awesome. Oh and I also learned that Katee Sackoff will be back, who I just love and adore from Battlestar Galactica. Oh and even Katie Lucas, George's daughter and a writer for Clone Wars was in the audience, truly a special night!

Star Wars: Clone Wars season 4 comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on October 23rd, you can pre-order it now on!

And looking forward to Clone Wars  Season 5 premiering late September on the Cartoon Network!
