Dan Harmon On Sony's Plans for 'Community': "Going To Smother It With A Pillow"

Former "Community" showrunner Dan Harmon was not light on words about the show when interviewed recently on KCRW's "The Business." While admitting that he faulted his own "self-destructive behavior" for being let go from "Community" --  "I would have fired me" -- Harmon also said Sony never really liked him anyway and was just looking for an excuse to cut him loose:

Of course, pillows factored prominently in Season Three's Troy/Abed "breakup" episode "Pillows and Blankets." Perhaps Harmon sees Sony as:

As "Community" gears up for its October 19th season premiere with new producers David Guarascio and Moses Port, Harmon has pilots in development with Fox, CBS, and Adult Swim.
