Avengers vs X-Men War Journals: Promoting the Event

How does a massive event like Marvel's "Avengers vs. X-Men" get promoted? Who operates the gigantic machine that is Marvel Comics' public image? What kind of work goes into something this?

In our newest clips from our ongoing series "Avevgers vs. X-Men: War Journals" we take a peek into the process of promoting, controlling, organizing and ensuring that this big-time event goes off without a hitch.

In our first clip you'll meet Arune Signh, James Viscardi and Tim Dillon as they take you through a day in life of a Marvel marketeer. "We're the cowboys of it all," Viscardi says, "We are corralling everything and taking all the information we could possibly get about any book that's going out on stands with that Marvel logo on it, we are planning for everything."

AvX: Meet the Marketing Team

In the next clip, we see just how this team works together to get 'AvX' into the hands of any and all readers. "There's not a lot of barriers, whether you're a coordinator, you're an intern, or you're a VP, you're all working together. We all know at the end of the day, despite what out titles are, we're all in this together," Singh says "We realize we all have to lean on each other."
