‘Fringe,’ ‘Supernatural,’ and ‘Rango’ Receive Saturn Award Nominations

The 38th Annual Saturn Awards are coming this June, and we’ve got a partial list of nominees after the jump. The Saturns honor outstanding horror, fantasy, and sci-fi in film and TV, and that makes some of the nominees headscratchers. Mixed in with likely suspects like Supernatural and Doctor Who, you’ve got Leverage, The Closer, and Breaking Bad making the lists in their respective categories.

Hit the jumps for some highlights from the list. You can see the full list of nominees on the Saturn Awards site.
