Toy Fair 2012: Mars Attacks This Fall And It's All Mezco Toyz Fault!

Back in 1962, artist Wallace Wood reported humanity's downfall at the hands of our Martian overlord through Topps trading card series, effectively titled: Mars Attacks. While we were obviously able to take the fight back to those green-suited bastards and send them packing back to the red planet, now Mezco Toyz is helping to once again spearhead their invasion of our world! Strangely enough, we found this out during Toy Fair 2012 rather than a major news network. Way to report the facts, "journalists"!

Join us as we take a look at not one, but 3 different scales our conquerors will be arriving in!

This figure is in around a 6" scale and will come with a number off accessories, including a ray gun and removable helmet. This Martian is a prototype figure and the actual helmet will be clear plastic instead of the yellowish version shown here which was mocked up right before the show. Also, the articulation has not been finalized so no news on if the shoulders and hips will be ball-joints or not.

On the right, you'll see the 3 3/4" version of the Martian, so now Snake-eyes and your crew of smaller warriors will have their own aliens to contend with!

Last up is this plush version of a Martian. We imagine this is for infiltrating our teddy bear collection plush-toys-that-aren't-overly-cute collection! Sneaky Martian spies!
