EXCLUSIVE Avengers vs. X-Men Tie-In Cover: Secret Avengers #26

Looks like things are heating up heading into Marvel’s Avengers vs. X-Men event… And in the tie-in books, as we have an EXCLUSIVE look at the cover for Secret Avengers #26 by Rick Remender and Renato Guedes.

According to the solicit, Thor is taking a team of Avengers to stop The Phoenix force – and we’re assuming its listed as a “suicide mission” because they’re in space and only, like, half of them are wearing spacesuits. It even kind of looks like Captain Britain is realizing they don’t have any oxygen, and is about to say, “Hey, wait a–” before dying. Thor: master of advance planning, that guy.

Seriously, though, they’re superheroes, we know they can mostly breathe in space, so please don’t flame us in the comments section.

Will Thor and his team stop the Phoenix force? How will this tie into the main book? And who is that tiny guy in the back? Ant-Man, maybe? You’ll have to pick up Secret Avengers #26 to find out! Here’s the full solicit, and cover graphic:
