Could LEGO Legend of Zelda Be Headed Our Way?

The idea for official LEGO Minecraft products got a huge response when it showed up on LEGO CUUSOO. So much so the developers behind the block-building game showed their support by contacting LEGO directly. Now another video game enthusiast has an idea for LEGO sets – LEGO Legend of Zelda.

If you're not familiar with LEGO CUUSOO you should definitely head over there and check it out. Anyone that believes they have a good idea for LEGO products can sign up and share it with the community. If the idea gets support from 10,000 different people LEGO will consider it for review and it could one day become an actual product.

Recently a LEGO CUUSOO user going by the name Mingles posted an idea for LEGO Legend of Zelda along with renders of some memorable pieces of the Legend of Zelda universe including several swords, shields and even Link's ocarina from Ocarina of Time.

As of writing this the project had support from just under a thousand people, but as we mentioned before it will take 10,000 to be seriously reviewed by LEGO. On top of that, it would also need Nintendo's approval and they probably won't be as quick to jump on the project as Mojang was with the LEGO Minecraft proposition. Crazier things have happened, but we're not holding our breath.
