David Tennant To Voice Shrek TV Show

I love it when two pop-culture icons come together! Teen Now Magazine reports that former Doctor Who David Tennant will be voicing the upcoming Shrek: Once Upon A Time for BBC3. Here's an official synopsis of the hour-long special:

"David Tennant narrates a celebratory look at how an ogre with a Scottish accent single-handedly changed the face of animation. It features exclusive interviews with the creative geniuses behind the award-winning animation and the voices that brought the story to life, including Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Jennifer Saunders and Shrek himself."

Tennant is also taking another foray into animation next Spring, voicing Charles Darwin in the Aardman/Sony production The Pirates! Band Of Misfits. Shrek: Once Upon A Time airs December 23rd at 9pm on BBC3.
