Exercise Your Right to Vote (For Comics): Top Cow's Pilot Season Voting Is Open!

Top Cow opens up their 2011 season of voting where you get choose which of the pilot books will get to continue beyond their first issue.

How many of this year's Pilot Season titles have you checked out? Well, if you've read something this year and you really want it to go on beyond the first issue, then voting has opened at TopCow.com from now through December 18th, featuring titles from Jeremy Haun, Dan Casey, Alan McElroy, and Lance Briggs. So what are you waiting for? Get over there and pick your book.

Here's a list of the eight titles you can choose for this year's round of voting:

The Test

A group of eight people wake up in an strange enclosed area, not knowing who they are or how they got there. What they do know, however, is from a mysterious voice that tells them they must repopulate and save the world after an apocalypse. But is what they voice is telling them true?

City of Refuge

San Francisco becomes paradise after all its residents have a chip planted in them that removes all their violent tendencies. A drug is created that inhibits the effects of the chip, however, and both cops and criminals alike use it. Will these drug users settle their differences and create a real utopia?

The Beauty

A new STD spreads across the world, but this disease you want to catch. It makes all infected people unspeakably attractive, but after the world's face lift, two detectives discover some nasty, undesirable side effects. Will the world decide to stay beautiful and die young, or life a sub-beautiful life?

Fleshdigger

A good samaritan gets killed protecting a woman from muggers, only to be raised from the dead by the woman he saved. A classic monster story with some fresh new twists. Can the good zombie Samaritan exact revenge on his killers?

Misdirection

A fallen NASCAR star gets out of prison has a friend hook him up with a job driving some people around. What he doesn't know is his passengers are criminals, and he's become their get-away driver. When the job goes wrong, will the former NASCAR hero be able to drive fast enough to save his life?

Anonymous

A former covert soldier fakes his own death to escape his handlers, but instead of letting his family know he's still alive, he creates a new identity to atone from his past sins. Can looking over his family as a stranger and doing good deeds really make up for a life time of bad choices?

Seraph

The angelic warrior now known only as Seraph was once a sinner. After living a life of selfishness and sin, personal tragedy drove him to kill himself. Plucked on his way to Hell by Heaven, the man was made Heaven's soldier in an endless battle. Charged with fighting an ancient war, but bound by God's law, can Seraph triumph over opponents not restricted in the same way and regain his faith in the process?

Theory of Everything

Charles Witten is a brilliant scientist capable of inventing devices that will change out world. Unfortunately, most of the scientific community thinks he's a crackpot. As does the government, until... a crack team of heistmen rob a bank in Switzerland using what appears to be Witten's dimension hopping technology. Technology that Witten designed, but never completed...
