Captain America Classic Avengers Fine Art Statue
Created in 1941 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby to represent opposition to Nazi Germany, CAPTAIN AMERICA combined superhero stories with patriotism and the fight against oppression in the world. From humble beginnings as a physically weak young man, Steve Rogers attempted to join the United States military service to combat the threat in Europe. Recruited into a secret “Super-Soldier” program, Rogers was given a serum and radiation that transformed him into a paragon of human athleticism. With a red, white, and blue costume and special aerodynamic shield, Captain America burst onto the superhero scene. Rogers would team up with other heroes and fight alongside the Avengers on multiple occasions, and it’s that heroic inspiration that drives his latest appearance: CAPTAIN AMERICA CLASSIC COSTUME! Coinciding with the upcoming Avengers film in 2012, this series celebrates the classic versions of some of Marvel’s greatest heroes.
Captain America stands tall as a symbol of freedom and democracy, ever vigilant in the face of opposition. Perched on top of a rocky outcrop, Steve Rogers surveys the field of battle before him while ready to spring into action. His classic uniform has been painstakingly recreated with its suit, boots, belt, textured shirt, gloves, and cowl with the prominent “A” and tiny wings. The red, white, and blue color scheme is resplendent, and your eye will be drawn to the bright white stars on Cap’s chest and back as well as the striped red and white of his midsection. Of course, secured to Rogers’ right arm is his trusty shield, and it has never looked better! Captain America makes for a truly imposing and heroic image, and it’s made even better by offering you a choice in how you want to display him. Included with the statue are two heads so your Cap can wear his cowl or go bare-headed as Steve Rogers!
The classic Captain America stands a stately 15 inches tall (1/6 scale), and has been sculpted by Kotobukiya master artist Erick Sosa. His rocky terrain base matches those on the other Classic Avengers, the previously released Thor and the upcoming Iron Man! Collect your classic Avengers team just in time for the new film.

Iron Man Classic Avengers Fine Art Statue
Created in 1963 by a group of comic book luminaries (including Stan Lee and Jack Kirby), Tony Stark was a rich playboy whose capture during the Cold War led him to create a technologically advanced powered armor suit bristling with weapons and science-fiction gadgets. Best known for fighting enemies such as Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo, Stark would over the years combat his own personal demons as well, making him a very nuanced and interesting character popular the world over. While he would continue to improve and upgrade his armors, the brilliant industrialist/hero would also help found the premiere Marvel superhero group which inspires his latest appearance: IRON MAN CLASSIC AVENGERS! Coinciding with the upcoming Avengers film in 2012, this series celebrates the classic versions of some of Marvel’s greatest heroes.
Wearing his classic red and gold armor, Iron Man fights alongside his fellow Avengers to defend the Earth and humanity. Standing on uneven terrain Stark lunges to his left with his arm outstretched to unleash a powerful Repulsor Ray blast at his unseen enemies! The technological wonder of the Iron Man armor is intricately sculpted with all of the classic components you know and love from the stoic faceplate to the circular generator on his chest, distinctive hip pods, and the bands on his extremities. The suit’s armored chest piece ripples with muscles, while its upper arms and legs conform to Stark’s athletic physique. Iron Man’s paint scheme is resplendent in metallic red and gold, and it really stands out when displayed next to the other Classic Avengers. Included with the statue are two heads so you can display your Iron Man with his helmet on or bare-headed to reveal the determined visage of Tony Stark!
Sculpted by Kotobukiya master artist Erick Sosa, the Classic Avengers Iron Man stands nearly 14 inches tall (1/6 scale). His rocky terrain base matches those on the other Classic Avengers, the previously released Thor and Captain America! Collect your Classic Avengers team just in time for the new film!

Thor Classic Avengers Fine Art Statue
The mighty Thor is back and better than ever! In 1962 comic book mastermind Stan Lee set out to create a new superhero, one who was incredibly powerful. He found such a character in Norse mythology, the god of thunder. A true champion of good, he has fought beside many other Marvel Comics superheroes throughout the years, including several incarnations of the Avengers. It’s in that spirit that he appears as the first in an all-new fine art statue series: THOR CLASSIC AVENGERS! Coinciding with the upcoming Avengers film in 2012, this series celebrates the classic versions of some of Marvel’s greatest heroes, starting with the Asgardian warrior who just this year received his own feature film.
Based on classic art by Jack Kirby, Thor stands as a literal god upon the field of battle. Huge and muscular, the god of thunder poses triumphantly with his magical hammer Mjolnir held high above his head as though daring the enemies of Asgard to challenge him. The classic look is authentic from the colorful costume (sleeveless black belted tunic with silver discs, blue pants, yellow wrapped high boots, and red cape) to his hair and accessories (red and black wristbands and silver winged helmet). Thor has an incredibly detailed sculpt that captures every bulging muscle, crease and fold of his costume, and the flowing strength of his cape and long blonde hair. Particularly well done are the powerful but battle worn Mjolnir with its chips, cracks, and iconic inscription and the deity’s face focused fiercely on the battle at hand.
Sculpted by Kotobukiya master artist Erick Sosa, Thor dominates the fine art statue series at nearly 13 ½ inches tall. The blast from the past stands on a crushed rock terrain base that will match those on the other upcoming Classic Avengers: Captain America and Iron Man! Start building your classic Marvel team with Thor just in time for the film.
