10 Of The Geekiest Holiday Decorations We Could Find

Just because it's the holiday season that doesn't mean we can't still be geeks. We searched through the magical internet machine for 10 geeky holiday decorations and put this list together to help you decorate your home the way a geek should.

Yoda and Spock Tree Toppers

Nothing says nerd like like a Yoda or Spock tree-topper and ThinkGeek is the place to get one. Both versions plug into the tree lights for a soft glow and they will set you back about $40.

Superman & Batman Stockings

Everyone needs a stocking and the little ones (and big ones) will love these 20-inch Superman and Batman stockings. Toys'R'Us has them for about $8 and they both come equipped with a cape just like the comic book superheroes they're inspired by.

TruBlood Bottle Ornament

If you're looking for a way to show your love for Sookie and the gang from Bon Temps then you should head over to the HBO Store and check out this TrueBlood Bottle Ornament. It's not the cheapest holiday ornament around, coming in at $20, but if your fan its a must have.

Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments

Hallmark releases a new set of geeky holiday ornaments every year and this year is filled with Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Gallactica and comic books superheroes for everyone. Some will light up and make noise while others will just hang there looking awesome. My favorite right now would have to Boba Fett's Slave I from Star Wars, but you decide for yourself over at Hallmark.com

Yoda and Spock Holiday Hats

To go along with that new Spock or Yoda tree topper ThinkGeek has some pretty interesting hats. As I'm sure you all know Yoda and Spock both have some funky ears and these hats will let you spread holiuday cheer with whichever set of alien ears you like best. Yoda sells for $11.99 while the Spock version costs $14.99.

LEGO City & LEGO Star Wars Advent Calenders

Advent calenders are great fun during the holidays, letting us get a little something everyday for month. The LEGO Cty version costs about $35 and the (much cooler) Star Wars Advent calender will set you back about $40. Head over to Shop.Lego.com and check them out.

Stormtrooper Nutcracker

When I was growing up we always had a few nutcrackers around the house to creep me out. If you want something a little more geeky to set on the mantle you check out this Stormtrooper Nutcracker available from Firebox.com. It stands 11" t5all and comes in at about $56.

Batman Snow Globe

Sculpted by John G. Matthews, this hand-painted snow globe features Batman and his most trusted ally, Robin, facing off against the Joker and Harley Quinn. No holiday set up is complete without a snow globe and they don't get much geekier than this. Get one from DC Direct for about $90.

Fiber Optic USB Christmas Tree

Home isn't the only place we can spread holiday cheer. Why not decorate that cubicle you're stuck in all day too? This Fiber Optic Tree plugs right into any free USB port and lights up with pulsating colors. You can also use 2 AAA batteries if you need the USB slot. They go for about $10 at ThinkGeek.

Geeky Wrapping Paper

Those gifts are going to be sitting under the tree for awhile, why not geek them up a bit while you wait for the big day? ThinkGeek has a bunch of geeky wrapping paper including designs like Zombies and Christmas-bots. For about $6 you can get 4, 20" x 30" sheets from ThinkGeek.
