The prolific Japanese rock quartet also responsible for several wildly popular anime themes will have a one-night only screening of their 20th anniversary concert doc, The Best of L'Arc~en~Ciel 2 Days Live at Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium later this month.
L'Arc-en-Ciel might not be a big name here in the U.S., but to Japanese audiences (and, of course, J-Pop fans here) there kind of a big deal with something like 13 million albums sold in their 20 year history together. Well, in celebration of their big anniversary, the band put together a concert film, The Best of L'Arc~en~Ciel 2 Days Live at Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium, which will be showing on November 29th in select markets. Chances are, if you're an anime fan, you've heard some of the group's music, as they've provided the opening tracks to both the first and second <>Fullmetal Alchemist features, The Conqueror of Shamballa and The Star of Milos, as well as well as the chart-topping track "Ready, Steady Go" for the series, and quite a few other titles.
