Geek Exclusive: Heavy Metal Unleashes The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

The Four Horsemen. Whether it be the Bible, Apocalypse's heralds in Marvel's X-Men, Rick Flair's classic wrestling stable, or as our favorite toy sculptors, the title of Four Horsemen is synonymous with ass-kicking-- sometimes it also just happens to signal the end of the world! Today, we here at MTV Geek are excited to announce the first in a series of graphic novels from Heavy Metal about The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse! Book 1 is titled Helldiver and was created by Michael Mendheim with artwork by the ever-awesome Simon Bisley!

3000 years ago, KING SOLOMON used his divine wisdom and baffling alchemy to imprison four destructive forces sent from Hell to destroy the Earth. These FOUR HORSEMEN were denied further

access to our world, trapped behind SEVEN HOLY SEALS forged by Solomon himself and guarded by the most trustworthy and deadly of his many sons. For generations, these seals were passed from

father to child, each one training the next in the defensive skills necessary to protect the seals from those who would see them broken, initiating the cataclysmic Prophesy foretold in the book of Revelation.

It is now, 3000 years later, and a new age has dawned. The seals are falling into the wrong hands, and only ADAM CAHILL -- direct descendant of Solomon himself -- can stop the impending
