Drool-Worthy Shots of "Batman: Arkham Asylum," Halo And Other Square Enix Toys At NYCC!

Batman: Arkham Asylum Joker Figure from Square Enix

Square Enix set up their wares at this year's New York Comic Con much to the delight of fans. Their various toylines, especially the spectacular Play Arts Kai brand encompass a wide variety of video game-based badasses from some very high profile franchises. From Halo to Street Fighter, none of their toys were garnering as many crowds of salivating fans as the upcoming figures based on Batman: Arkham Asylum. Yes, the trend of ridiculously cool Batman figures continues with Square Enix. Join us as we give you a closer look at the offerings from their overly-crowded booth.

Let's get right into things with the Batman: Arkham Asylum figures. Series 2 will consist of an Armored Batman and Harley Quinn, but Series 1 was on display with Batman himself and his archenemy, the Joker.

These are the weapons that come with Batman: a batarang and the triple grapnel gun. If these figures are like the others in the Play Arts line, they'll also sport at least one extra set of hands.

The Clown Prince of Crime looks to be equipped with a huge revolver... and evil. He's always equipped with plenty of evil.

This is the Silver Mark V Spartan which was the limited edition New York Comic Con Exclusive.

These were the event exclusive Red vs Blue Spartans. Very cool and ready to battle it out like an old married couple.

Master Chief here is the main man cyborg from the Halo franchise. This is a more stylized version with the anime-style flair that Square Enix adds so well.

No new Metal Gear Solid figures were debuted at the show, but Snake's greatest camouflage of all time, the cardboard box, was available as a freebie with a purchase of any of the series' figures.

See those? Hell yes you do! Sorry SOTA, but the throne of Street Fighter perfection has now been occupied by Square Enix.
