I don’t know what it is about that green alien/robot, but the Android mascot will forever hold a special place in my nerdy heart. With the launch of Android 3.0 Honeycomb Google introduced a slightly modified version of their mascot featuring the hind quarters of a honey bee. Unsurprisingly, it looks like someone has decided to knock off the design with these portable speakers.
Were going to go out on a limb here and guess the sound quality delivered by these little buzzers isn’t going to blow anyone away, but they still look pretty cool and it’s always nice to have a portable speaker — iPad owners know exactly what I’m talking about. Even my iPad 2, with what was supposed to be a louder speaker, is constantly in need of a few more decibels.
If you’re a fan of Android devices, need a cheap portable speaker for your smartphone or tablet, or just think this is the cutest thing ever you’re in luck. You can head over to ChinaGrabber and snag one of these for about $14, and you’ll have a choice between 5 different colors — Red, Yellow, Green, White, and Blue. If you’re really diggin’ this Android Honeycomb speaker you could head to AliExpress and order a 50 piece lot for $265.
