While true LEGO diehards are busy popping out the model home from Arrested Development and Middle Earth in its entirety, most of us are left with a box of plastic bricks and limited freestyle LEGO building abilities. Thankfully a new website has sprung up to change all that.
Rebrickable.com is probably one of the best ideas any LEGO fanatic has ever had. First you tell the magical website what LEGO sets you currently own (via the set ID) and then they tell you what new sets you can build with your already massive multicolored scrap yard. It’s pretty damn and I wouldn’t be surprised if you found out all the pieces for the set you’ve been drooling over are already in your collection. How awesome would that be?
One great feature is our ability to browse through some pretty interesting LEGO stats. For instance, I never would have guessed that the simple 1x2 brick is one of the most popular LEGO pieces around. I hate that piece sometimes, but crazier things have happened I guess.
If you’re a LEGO fan you need to check this website out. After you do hit the comments section below and let us know if you discovered any awesome sets you can build from recycled bricks.
