Money's Tight: Buy Cheap Comics During Top Shelf's $3 Sale Tomorrow

[Update: Fixed the link to the sale at the bottom of the post]

Argh, the From Hell hardcover is $25 and I just bought the softcover!

Anyway, starting Thursday, Top Shelf is throwing a web sale and everybody is invited with a lot of books getting healthy price chops this week, with the lowest priced titles hitting a dollar. The publisher usually throws one of these sales every couple of months and you can find recent and older titles at a nice little discount, but I'd like to think that they're running it this week as a kind of antidote to the mad dash to shops to pick up books from the New 52. See, you can't escape the New 52, it's everywhere!

Anyway, Top Shelf has some of the best production values in the business and a very eclectic lineup of titles. Currently, it's the home of books as diverse as Moore and O'Neill's League of Extraordinary Gentleman ($5.00), James Kochalka's SuperF*ckers* (one American dollar), and the thick volume of martial arts awesomeness that is Kagan MacLeod's Infinite Kung Fu ($18.75).

Anyway, here are some of the titles that Top Shelf would respectfully like to point you towards:

$3 Titles: The Playwright, Fingerprints, Voice of the Fire, and more!

$3 Titles: Dodgem Logic, Super Spy (V2), The Surrogates (V1&V2), and more!

$3 Titles: Regards from Serbia, Comic Book Artist, The King, and more!

$3 Titles: Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed, Woodsman Pete, and more!

$3 Titles: The 120 Days of Simon, Hey Princess, The Troll King, and more!

$3 Titles: Pinky & Stinky, Yam, I Am Going To Be Small, and more!

$1 Titles: Sulk (Vols 1, 2, & 3), SuperF*ckers #1-#4, and more!

$1 Titles: The Surrogates #1-#5, The Sketchbook Diaries #1-#4, and more!

$1 Titles: Lower Regions, Feeble Attempts, Conversations #1 & #2, and more!

$1 Titles: Comic Diorama, The Man Who Loved Breasts, 24x2, and more!

$1 Titles: Tales of the Great Unspoken, Black Ghost Apple Factory, Dang!, and more!

$1 Titles: Mephisto & The Empty Box, Hey Mister, Yearbook Stores, and more!

*This foul-mouthed take on teen superhero books is a personal favorite.

You can find the sales on Top Shelf's Special Deals page.
