FUNinmation and Toei To Stream English-Subtitled Toriko Episodes

The Japanese series Toriko will be officially brought to North American audiences as FUNimation and Toei team-up to stream English-subtitled episodes of the anime four days after the Japanese broadcast. Each episode will be available on www.hulu.com as well as www.funimation.com/video.

Toriko is, in a sense, a food-based anime, as the main character globe-trots around the world searching for ingredients for the perfect meal. It is based on Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's manga that is serialized in Shonen Jump.

The English-subtitled broadcasts of Toriko start Thursday, April 14th 6:00 p.m. PST. The latest North American manga volume of Toriko will be available on June 7th from Viz Media.
