Fullmetal Alchemist 'Prototype' Manga One-Shot Launching In June

Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist "Prototype" manga will be published as a one-shot in June in the July issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine. While the Fullmetal Alchemist manga ended last June in Sh?nen Gangan, a side-story was drawn by Arakawa last September. The Fullmetal Alchemist one-shot is part of Monthly Sh?nen Gangan's 20th anniversary celebration.

Since debuting in 2001 as a serialized manga in Monthly Sh?nen Gangan magazine, Fullmetal Alchemist has since been collected in books, adapted into animated television series, a film, video games, and toys. It has also been voted most popular anime in Japan of all time in two TV Asahi web polls.
