Doctor Who is famous for seemingly impossible situations and odd occurrences. The show also likes to keep it in the family. Tenth Doctor David Tennant met his fiancée Georgia Moffett during her guest role on the series in 2008. Moffett played the role of Jenny, the Doctor’s daughter, in the action packed Season Three episode. She had previously auditioned for the role of the Doctor’s companion Rose Tyler.
Interestingly enough, Moffett happens to be the daughter of Peter Davison, the actor who portrayed the Fifth Doctor from 1981 to 1984. Moffett’s mother Sandra Dickinson has also appeared in Doctor Who. In 2007, Davison reprised his role as the Fifth Doctor for a team-up with Tennant's Tenth Doctor in the mini-episode 'Time Crash'. The episode was written by Steven Moffat and filmed for the Children in Need charity.
In an earlier interview with The Daily Mail Davison said: 'It's great because David is a genuinely nice guy - and also a very fine Doctor Who. I'm delighted Georgia has found happiness because she hasn't always had an easy life.'
After her appearance as Jenny, rumors that Georgia Moffett and David Tennant were dating flew fast and furiously. When the news of their engagement was announced in January of this year, the couple revealed that Moffett was around five months pregnant.
Although there has been no official confirmation, Bleeding Cool broke the news on March 29th that the Doctor’s daughter had given birth to the Doctor’s daughter. This is Tennant’s first child and Moffett’s second.
We have to wonder if this baby's first words, like Jenny's, will be "Hello, Dad."
