The Wasp and The Atom In Small But Mighty

When it comes to shrinking superheroes the two titanic titans in that department on either side of the big two great divide have always been DC’s The Atom and Marvel’s Hank Pym (Pym’s currently going by his dead ex-wife Janet Van Dyne’s secret identity The Wasp in the pages of Avengers and his current mini-series with Ant-Man, the guy who stole his shrinking tech a few years back). Our story picks up after the current Ant-Man shrinks down to the microverse and gets himself into some trouble. He sends a distress signal out to the larger world which both Hank Pym and Ray Palmer receive while monitoring their domains. Both heroes respond to the call for help, only to mistake the other as the villain. A tiny fight in the microspace follows before the two scientists can explain to one another who they are and what they do. From there, they team up to find Ant-Man fighting a battalion of crazy monsters of all shapes and sizes, and finally rescue the captured hero before going their separate ways.
