Internationally-acclaimed artist (and MTV Geek live art contributor!) Jim Mahfood is teaming with Talenthouse and Graphic.ly to discover the next great comic book talent.
Artists are asked to submit three pages of their original comic books to Talenthouse, and a winner will be chosen by Mahfood himself and Talenthouse to be published and promoted by Graphic.ly.
In addition to publication, winning artists will be able to pick the brain of Mahfood about the ins-and-outs of the comic industry in three exclusive mentoring sessions.

Digital publisher Graphic.ly and comic book creator Jim Mahfood invite illustrators and graphic novelists to submit three pages of one of their comic books in order to win three mentoring sessions with Jim and have their comic published and promoted by Graphic.ly.

Jim Mahfood, aka Food One, is an illustrator/comic book artist/muralist/live art rocker residing in LA. He is the creator of the art style known as Visual Funk: a hybrid mix of comix art, graffiti, manga, street art, and funk culture.
Graphic.ly is a cutting-edge digital content delivery system and community platform for comic publishers. Graphic.ly provides an immersive social experience and marketplace around digital comics and associated merchandise.
HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN
Graphic.ly and Jim Mahfood will select the winning comic from the pool of outstanding entries. The top-voted submissions will automatically be considered in the final selection round, but the hosts may select the winning entry from the larger group of submissions.
WHAT YOU GET
The winning comic will be published and featured by Graphic.ly. The winning artist will receive three mentoring sessions with Jim Mahfood.
The three People’s Choice winners (top voted) will receive: Signed hardcover art books from Jim Mahfood, with an original drawing in each of them.
