Ever since Justin Bieber debuted his platinum blond hair on "Today," I've been eagerly anticipating what was coming next. While he doesn't change his hair with Kylie Jenner-level frequency, Justin has had multiple hair colors and styles this year—I didn't foresee the blond side-swoop sticking around that long.

Well, I was totally wrong, and all of September, October, and November have come and gone without any drastic changes. Now that it's December, though, it seems like it's finally time.

On Tuesday night (Dec. 1), when he wasn't sharing throwback photos with Selena Gomez, he was showing off how long his hair had gotten by putting it in front of his face. The long hair isn't deliberate, as it was earlier this year—he accompanied the photo with a simple caption: "Haircut need."

You can say that again, pal.

While Justin didn't reveal when he plans on getting his much-needed cut or how much he plans to take off, I think we can all agree on one thing—it should happen soon and, um, we wouldn't mind seeing something like this again. Just sayin'.
