Here's The 'Ned's Declassified' And 'Pretty Little Liars' Connection You Never Knew Existed

Moze wasn't the only James K. Polk Middle School resident to move to Rosewood.

Fans of both the hit 2000s show "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and the A-mazing mystery "Pretty Little Liars" already know Jennifer Ann "Moze" Mosely (Lindsey Shaw) graduated from James K. Polk Middle School in California and became Paige McCullers at Rosewood High School in Pennsylvania. She traded a happy life with Ned for a happier one with Emily. That is, until she and Emily broke up and Paige moved across the country, of course.

But did you know there was a second person from James K. Polk hanging out in Rosewood? He's a lawyer, super shady and plays the absent father quite well. Yep, it's Spencer Hastings' workaholic dad, Peter (Nolan North)! He first appeared on the "Ned's Declassified" episode "Recycling," playing a German art dealer who loves Cookie's strange plastic bottles piece. Oh, and he had clearly-not-fake bright, white hair.

North reprised his role on the Nickelodeon show, revealing his character to actually be the school's art teacher. According to IMDb, his character's name is Simone Moma, but the Nickelodeon Wiki refers to him as Nigel Hattorff. Either way, he's definitely the same actor who now plays uptight Peter Hastings on "PLL."

MIND = BLOWN

Simone/Nigel was definitely the World's Best Art Teacher. Remember when he tried to sell Ned's abstract "naked lady" painting for $20,000? Or, when he said this absolute gem of a quote?

Between North's funny accent and goofy wig on "Ned's Declassified," it's no wonder we didn't recognize him earlier on "PLL." But really though, how much of an 180-degree difference are these two characters? One is a free-spirited, go-with-the-flow type of dude, while the other is a high-strung, grouchy adulterer. Props to North for flawlessly pulling off these vastly dissimilar characters.

Any chance Papa Hastings can somehow bring back that white wig? His character's gotta loosen up somehow. Please and thank you, Marlene King.
