Let's be honest for a second: every promo for "Arrow's" second season has been just okay at best. That's not to say they haven't made us excited for the show's return, but they haven't upped the stakes. All that has changed with the latest promo for the season two premiere, "City of Heroes."
The minute long spot makes a pretty convincing argument for giving the cast and crew of "Arrow" some big screen money and allowing them to put Oliver Queen in a feature film, because this looks nearly Christopher Nolan-level good. This clip has everything: racing motorcycles, flipping cars, machine guns, angry protesters, passionate embraces, graveyard visits, parachutes, pleas for helps, solemn vows, a Black Canary, and so much broken glass. This looks bigger than television, to be perfectly honest, and we now have our fingers crossed that the new episodes deliver on this hefty promise.
"Arrow" returns to the CW on Wednesday, October 9th.
