'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Internet Round Up: Ferrets, 'Riddick,' And Cold Nights

by Brett White

Things have been relatively quiet for "Guardians of the Galaxy" as it has moved into the latter half of its shooting schedule. August began with a blockbuster week, including leaked footage and the first real set photos featuring Glenn Close, and last month ended with the biggest news of all: Bradley Cooper is voicing Rocket Raccoon.

Even though things have seemingly (temporarily?) calmed down for "Guardians," the film's cast and director are still very active on the Internet. With that in mind, here are a few updates that you may have missed if you don't follow the online exploits of director James Gunn and Dave Bautista, who plays Drax.

First up, here's a video James Gunn posted to his Facebook page of a ferret, a skunk, and a surprise raccoon.

It certainly seems like Gunn has gained an affinity for raccoons after doing research for Rocket Raccoon. Really can't explain the presence of the ferret and skunk, though. Are they pets or more research? And has Gunn started the "cute skunk video" craze we've all been waiting for?

Next, Dave Bautista and friends (including co-star Chris Pratt) all saw "Riddick" over the weekend, a movie that just so happens to feature Drax himself.

Lastly, James Gunn hinted that Drax and Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana) will be rocking outfits as skimpy as their comic book counterparts'—at least for one scene.
