After years in development, "Queen and Country" appears to be on the right track towards a big screen adaptation. Just yesterday Variety revealed that actress Ellen Page (of Kitty Pryde and "Inception" fame) is in talks to bring the Oni Press heroine to life. MTV Geek caught up with "Queen and Country" creator and writer Greg Rucka to get his take on the casting, which he found out along with the entire internet yesterday afternoon.
"It's great news," Rucka told MTV Geek. "She's an absolutely tremendous actress... [producers] Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping, I have incredible faith in them." While Rucka was caught unaware with the Page announcement, he's apparently read the new script by John Rogers.
"To this day, it's one of the best scripts I've ever read--ever." For the rest of Rucka's thoughts—including what Ellen Page will physically bring to the role of Tara Chace—head on over to MTV Geek!
