'Arrow': 5 DC Cameos for Season Two

Green Arrow Green Lantern

by Ryan Rigley

Seems like season two of "Arrow" is shaping up to be quite the spectacle for DC fans. With the recent news of China White returning for the series' second season, the "Arrow" cameo tally has added one more notch, in addition to the two created by the news that both the Black Canary and the Flash will be making cameo appearances in upcoming episodes of the CW series.

While Barry Allen is said to be featured in three episodes this fall, Black Canary has been teased at "Arrow" fans since season one began with Oliver Queen's on-again, off-again girlfriend Dinah "Laurel" Lance. If there's one thing that the first season of "Arrow" did not skimp out on, it's awesome DC cameos. That said, here's a list of five more DC cameos that we'd like to see in season two of "Arrow."

Green Lantern

"Arrow" producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg have already expressed great interest in bring Hal Jordan into the "Arrow" universe. In fact, the Ferris Air logo has already appeared in one of the latter episodes of season one. Green Lantern and Green Arrow are extremely close friends in the comic book, even co-starring in a team-up series called "Green Lantern/Green Arrow" for a time. Clearly, Hal Jordan will make an appearance in some way, shape, or form on the series at some point in time. Whether or not he has his Green Lantern powers—and whether or not he'll be played by Ryan Reynolds—is a different story altogether.

Roy Harper has already been promoted to series regular for season two, with actor Colton Haynes teasing his character's evolving role on the series. While Oliver and Roy interacted with each other in literally two scenes last season, it's entirely possible that they could form a master/apprentice relationship in the upcoming second season. Here's hoping that he becomes the vigilante's trusty sidekick Arsenal, if not Speedy or Red Arrow.

Making his recent comeback within the pages of the 'Justice League of America' comic series, Vibe is a superhero with the ability to create shock waves capable of shattering steel or concrete. Currently, "Arrow" co-creator and producer Andrew Kreisberg writes Vibe's ongoing series, so we know the character is on his mind. And while "Arrow's" strict no-powers rule might have precluded him from the show before, the news of the super-fast Flash appearing in season two might allow for the super-powered Vibe to be able to walk the streets of Starling City.

Amanda Waller

Recently, within the DC comics universe, Amanda Waller has been portrayed as the head of the intelligence agency known as A.R.G.U.S. and the prime benefactor of the A.R.G.U.S.-owned Justice League of America. A.R.G.U.S. has already appeared briefly within the world of "Arrow," with Diggle having connections within the organization. Honestly, we'd be completely surprised if Waller didn't show up on the series.

The Question

An investigative journalist with questionable methods, Vic Sage wears a featureless mask made of artificial skin in order to conceal his identity while on the case. In the DC comic book universe, the Question has expressed his feelings for the Huntress during a stint in Gotham City. With Huntress still running around within the world of "Arrow," we think there's a pretty good chance of the Question showing up to sweep her off her feet.
