'Kick-Ass 2' Clip: Hit-Girl Tears Through The Streets

by Brett White

The plot's one we've all seen before: kid races home before their parent finds out they've actually skipped school. That's just what happens in this new clip from "Kick-Ass 2", where the "Full House"-ish plot gets a thoroughly "Kick-Ass" makeover.

Mindy Macready's left her superhero career behind - at least that's what her guardian, a police officer named Marcus, believes. With the threat of a supreme grounding looming over her head, Hit-Girl hops on her Ducati bike and pounds on the gas to try to get home before Marcus does.

The clip also features a souped-up remix of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' "I Hate Myself For Loving You," which is a nice nod to the first "Kick-Ass" film wherein Hit-Girl took out a hallway of mobsters to Jett's "Bad Reputation." Check out the entire clip below!
