Fans of both Marvel and DC's television output will have a busy schedule at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, as if there's any other type of schedule to have at the show that's becoming more legendary every year. ABC has announced that there will be a "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." panel on Friday July 19th, and Warner Bros. will be dedicating a block of time on Saturday, July 20th to an "Arrow" panel.
This marks "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" Comic-Con debut, which follows the series getting picked up back in May. To celebrate the show's impending premiere, the Marvel Entertainment booth will apparently be showcasing the series all weekend long with even more special announcements to be made - like maybe revealing who J. August Richards is playing? Friday's panel will include "S.H.I.E.L.D." mastermind Joss Whedon and Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb.
This isn't "Arrow's" first time in San Diego. The show made a big splash last year with a sneak preview of the pilot, special hotel key cards, exclusive preview comic and actor appearances. This year the show returns as a veteran, having survived - and thrived - in its freshman season. Season two promises to bring a few surprises, some of which could get teased during the show's panel on Saturday, July 20th. Will they reveal one or both of next season's big bads? Will they reveal the super-team set to play a big role in the next batch of episodes? The possibilities are endless and, just like "Arrow," ever-expanding.
The "Arrow" panel is scheduled to feature actors Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards and Colton Haynes along with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg.
