New 'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV Spot Hits During NBA Finals

by Brett White

Welcome to Level 7... again. A new TV spot for ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." aired during the NBA finals aired over the weekend, condensing the previous trailers into one quick 20 second montage. The only new footage in the quick spot, which still does a great job of hyping us up for the series, is the reveal of a mystery hologram man being analyzed by Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker). Check out the TV spot, and then take a peek at the man in question after the jump.

So who is this guy?

I love speculation based on the tiniest shred of evidence, but the only characters I can come up with are Vigo the Carpathian from "Ghostbusters II" and Rob Perlman's Beast from the late '80s "Beauty and the Beast" show. And is he holding up an office chair as a weapon? Odds are he's a bad guy, looking at his scowl and the fact that he's getting analyzed via hologram. I just don't know which villain.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesdays this fall on ABC.
