You gotta love the villains. Or, at least, the person playing a villain's gotta love the villains.
That's Svetlana Khodchenkova's outlook on Viper, the femme fatale she plays in "The Wolverine." The Russian actress spoke with Collider about inhabiting the role, and how she's coming to terms with the Viper's dastardly deeds.
"With my character, certainly she's a villain, but for me to play the character I have to love the character," she said. "I have to realize why she's doing what she's doing, and obviously she has reasons for everything she does. I'm working a lot on that. I love the character."
Khodchenkova not only loves the character, she loves working with Hugh Jackman as well. She said of her leading man, "He's a really kind person, and he always cares about everyone. He'll come up and ask if you've had a good sleep, are you wearing sunblock. He's very nice. It's very great to work with him and everyone else."
