The mastermind behind the "Avengers" franchise, Joss Whedon, stopped by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Friday night to promote his new film adaptation of Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." He talked about coming from a long line of TV writers and went into detail about his plans for "The Avengers 2." Of course those plans famously involve Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, characters that have been the source of some drama lately. But Whedon didn't say anything about Fox adding Quicksilver to "X-Men: Days of Future Past" at the last minute; instead he focused on why he's interested in the characters in the first place.
