There was one big behind-the-scenes change made for "Iron Man 3," and Gwyneth Paltrow reveals that it greatly benefited the film. "We had a complete screenplay when we started, and it was great," says Paltrow. "The other two movies, we were writing as we were going; we were improvising the whole thing. It was a much more difficult process."
Paltrow's not knocking previous director Jon Favreau, as she clarifies in the full clip below. New director Shane Black and writer Drew Pearce definitely took advantage of lead time that wasn't exactly available to Favreau, and cranked out a dense, thematically rich script that gets high praise from Paltrow.
