Henry Cavill sure does look great in the Superman suit. Two new promotional images for Twizzler’s “Man of Steel” campaign have hit the web and they show that Cavill has the look of Superman, even if he is promoting candy instead of super-punching bad guys.
Twizzler recently launched a “Man of Steel” contest slated to run from April 29 to July 7 that is open only to legal residents of Canada. The grand prize is a trip for four to Alaska. There will also be indoor/outdoor 72″ inflatable theater kits doled out over the next 10 weeks for 10 lucky winners. One of the new images can be seen above, and the other lies just after the jump.
This isn’t the only promotional partnership “Man of Steel” has been a part of recently. Tickets to early screenings of the film are also being offered at Walmart starting on May 18. The screening will take place on June 13.
Warner Bros. reportedly is planning to launch a new DC film universe beginning with “Man of Steel,” so it’s important that this movie does well. Cavill recently opened up about his Superman influences during a recent interview.
“I read as much as I could, purely because I wanted to get a great reservoir of knowledge from the source material,” he said. “There are so many different representations of the character that it was easy to draw a baseline and pick and choose some flavors. They’re all facets and aspects of the same character, so you’ve just got to combine them and can play around with them and apply it to the script.”
