“Man of Steel’s” viral marketing has leaped from the vast expanses of the internet into the physical world (and by “physical world” I mean “billboard”). The digital billboard mimics the static-y images of the newly released General Zod TV spot. The spot itself aired during last night’s MTV Movie Awards, giving viewers their first real insight into just what motivates General Zod in “Man of Steel.” Check out the other image below.
The film’s promotion machine seems to be gearing up after laying dormant for a few months. Just in the past week there have been new photos in Entertainment Weekly and a new TV spot. I bet we’ll be seeing a lot more of “Man of Steel” once “Iron Man 3” opens and clears up a considerable amount of ad and attention space.
