Day 39 of "Amazing Spider-Man 2's" New York City shoot resulted in two Twitter pictures... and whatever footage was shot. The photos come courtesy of Marc Webb's Twitter account, which is a must-follow for everyone excited about the Spidey sequel. These pictures, though, actually feature director Marc Webb in the center of the action, demonstrating his vision for an audience consisting of producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
Comic Book Movie hypothesizes that Webb is standing in for Jamie Foxx and that this could be the scene where Max Dillon transforms into Electro. This isn't that far-fetched of an idea, and it sure looks like Webb is going through something in the first pic. The emotion!

Previous updates from @MarcW have included pictures of B.J. Novak, something called "The Armory," and Oscorp security enjoying some hang time. If it isn't clear, this is our hearty endorsement of Marc Webb's Twitter feed.
