Joseph Gordon-Levitt Denies 'Man Of Steel' Rumors

Were you hoping to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt make a cameo appearance in "Man of Steel" as Gotham City's new defender? Well, the actor's here to rub some kryptonite all over those hopes — in other words, it's not happening.

"I hadn't heard that one," Gordon-Levitt told MTV's Josh Horowitz at Sundance about the recent flurry of Batman rumors. "It just goes to show how much you can believe rumors."

What about those "Justice League" rumors, or the reports that have him starring in "Guardians of the Galaxy" as Star-Lord?

"I don't think you should believe in any of them," the actor said. "If there's something I'm going to be in, I'm going to tell you about it."

That's why Gordon-Levitt was happy to talk about "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," his next comic book movie project.

"'Sin City 2' is going to be fun," he said enthusiastically. "[I'm playing] a quintessential Rodriguez badass. It's going to be fun as hell."
