Were those "Iron Man 3" busts not enough for you earlier this week? Well, you're in luck, because Hasbro has a new line of toys tied into the upcoming movie on the way.
The new "Iron Man 3" action figures are due to arrive on February 11, USA Today reports. That's a good three months before the movie is expected to hit theaters on May 4.
These action figures have a fun twist: Consumers can customize their Iron Man or War Machine suits with different pieces and parts, and can also add accessories like projectile launchers. This way, fans can get their own unique version of Iron Man.
"Kids really want to customize their play experiences. They love to mash things up and make it their own," Adam Biehl, senior director of Marvel marketing at Hasbro, told USA Today. "We really wanted kids to be able to make their own armor and be able to show it off and make unique versions for their friends."
All told, there will be 16 different three-and-a-half-inch tall figures released by the end of 2013 as part of this "Assemblers" lineup. The first two will be Iron Man and War Machine, as seen in the above photo. The "Assemblers" packs will cost $9.99 and reportedly have more than 25 different armor combinations. The other 14 versions will be taken from "The Avengers," "Iron Man," "Iron Man 2" and Iron Man's various suits in Marvel comic book history.
