'Sin City' Recruits Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven And Juno Temple For Unknown Roles

Jeremy Piven

It's a popular time to live in "Sin City," as three more high-quality actors have signed on to Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's upcoming sequel.

Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven and Juno Temple are the latest names to sign on for "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," co-directed by Rodriguez and Miller and due out in theaters this coming fall. The Playlist has the news, but not the specifics on who the actors are playing.

Liotta, Piven and Temple join a growing cast list that includes fellow big names like Josh Brolin as Dwight McCarthy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a gambler named Johnny. Returning cast members from the first "Sin City" film include Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and more.

As for who the trio of new actors are playing? It's anybody's guess. Liotta and/or Piven seem perfectly suited for Gordon-Levitt's gambling storyline, but as that's a new story in the "Sin City" mythos, it's impossible to predict who they could play. Your guess is as good as ours regarding Temple, too, but given her age, we don't see her fitting the Ava Lord role.

"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" hits theaters on October 4, 2013.
