Helen Mirren has been away from the high-powered sniper rifle for far too long, in our opinion. But thankfully, that's about to change: she returns to the role of retired and extremely dangerous killer-spy Victoria in "Red 2," hitting theaters next summer.
Mirren is joined by fellow "Red" returnees like Bruce Willis and John Malkovich, as well as a host of all-star newcomers, including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sir Anthony Hopkins. In fact, Mirren has had some recent experience working with Hopkins, thanks to their likely-to-be Oscar-nominated collaboration on the Alfred Hitchcock biopic "Hitchcock," in theaters this Friday (November 23).
But Mirren doesn't feel like she ever had the chance to work with Hopkins, not until "Red 2," at least. On "Hitchcock," she was working purely with the filmmaking legend himself — there was no Hopkins in sight, she tells MTV News.

"Red 2" hits theaters on August 2, 2013. Mirren stars alongside a massive cast including Mary-Louise Parker and Brian Cox. Dean Parisot directs.
