'Amazing Spider-Man' Gets An Honest Trailer

The Amazing Spider-Man

"The Amazing Spider-Man" is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD in a week, so you know what that means: It's time for another Honest Movie Trailer.

Though the newest venture into the Spider-Man universe was received well when it hit theaters back in June, fans had plenty of nitpicks about the plot of the film. They might not be especially relevant anymore, but they're still hilarious to rehash and laugh at.

Enter the Honest Trailers' take on "The Amazing Spider-Man," which you can watch after the jump. Everything from The Lizard to Andrew Garfield's stutter were up to be mocked, and mocked they definitely were.

We do have to admit that Peter Parker was frequently a bit too obvious about his new super powers. And that whole Gwen Stacy stalking thing? That probably wouldn't fly in today's high school environment. But all those criticisms aside, "The Amazing Spider-Man" did a good job of retelling the Spider-Man origin story, even if it was "just so Sony can retain the rights to the character."

Also, we'll put this forward now: We'll watch Garfield stutter for hours any day, because that part of this trailer had us nearly crying we were laughing so hard.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" Blu-ray and DVD are due out in stores on November 9.
