Mickey Rourke Thinks 'Sin City' Sequel's Script Is 'Much Better' Than Original

Sin City

Even after Marv's hard goodbye in the first "Sin City," the big bad brute will have another round of face-punching and dame-protecting when "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" rolls around. And to hear actor Mickey Rourke tell it, "Dame" is positioned to be even better than the first ride through Basin City.

"I actually liked the script better, much better, for this one," the "Iron Man 2" actor told Vulture during a recent interview. He also "seemed to imply that his deal had not yet closed," according to the outlet, while also reiterating his distaste for the prosthetics that come with playing Marv.

"They make me feel claustrophobic," he said.

The next "Sin City" film, long in the making, finally gets in front of cameras this November, according to recent comments from co-star Rosario Dawson herself. Dawson reprises her role of Old Town warrior woman Gail in the sequel, a pivotal part based on the "Dame to Kill For" comics the movie gets its title from.

"It's sort of a prequel to the 'Sin City' we've already watched, so you'll understand the references we were making in that one," she said of the sequel. "The new face thing, all of that interesting stuff."
