Watch Edgar Wright's Comic-Con 'Ant-Man' Footage Recreated Through Fan Art

Ant-Man

Marvel might not want to show us Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" test footage yet, but one fan has come up with a clever way of revealing what he saw at Comic-Con to the world.

A Deviant Art user who goes by the name of Samurai Jack took it upon himself to recreate the footage shown to the best of his ability. Fans who have seen the footage themselves say the short film Samurai Jack put together does a great job of getting across the gist of Wright's presentation. Check it out after the jump.

Hopefully this fan recreation will encourage Marvel to release the actual footage sooner. Considering Wright will likely make "Ant-Man" after he's done with "The World's End," we'd love it if we actual got to see the concept that sold Marvel -- and all of Hall H -- on his idea for the Marvel superhero.

Marvel's Victoria Alonso recently commented on the Comic-Con footage and the chance it will see the light of day.

"What we showed at Comic-Con was a work in progress," she said. "We’re working on finishing it, and I think you might see it. Not sure where, but we always listen to the fans. And if the fans demand it we make sure they get it. I don’t know if we are going to post it online, but I don’t have [any reason] to believe we may not."
