What's a week without an update from Agent Coulson himself?
With "The Avengers" out on Blu-ray and DVD now, several of the cast and crew members are weighing in on the number one movie of the year. Gregg is one such person, speaking with Movies.com about a whole variety of "Avengers" topics, including whether or not he expects to ever work with Marvel again.
"I don't know that we'll see Agent Coulson again," he said, going on to add that at least he still supplies the agent's voice for the "Ultimate Spider-Man" cartoon. "And you never know there may be a flashback at some time. I've certainly pitched the prequel show with Budapest, Clint and Natasha and Coulson, but they seem really focused on looking ahead to the future."
"The stuff I write and direct tends to be a little small and indie, but I've definitely talked to Marvel lately about ways I can continue working with them, perhaps as a writer or a director," he added.
Gregg also weighed in on the Vision rumors that have popped up all over the web since his character's demise, calling the fan-created art devoted to his robotic revival "hilarious" and "really moving."
"Ya know, The Vision is synthetic, with a soul sort of, and is an amazing character who I used to love when I was reading those comics," said the actor. "I love the idea of Coulson as The Vision, but I don't know if that's in the cards."
