Oliver Queen isn't the only person running around Star City wearing a costume. In "Arrow," he'll be joined by at least two others, neither of whom are on his side: China White (played by Kelly Hu, as announced at Comic-Con) and now the eagle-eyed assassin Deadshot.
Though casting for the character has not yet been announced, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell has confirmed the villain's arrival in the show's third episode, titled "Lone Gunmen." Speaking with GreenArrowTV, Amell would only confirm one detail about Arrow's upcoming match against Deadshot: it won't end well for one of them.
"I can tell you that they are going to be after some of the same people," the actor elaborated. "Oliver does have a code. Obviously, it doesn’t include 'no killing,' as we’ve established so far, but there is a code. I don’t think Deadshot has it. I don’t think he respects his methods, which puts him in Oliver’s sights."
As for how the fight between the two will end, Amell said: "Unfavorably, for Deadshot, I would suspect."
Amell also spoke out about working with Hu as China White in the show's second episode. "I get to speak to her in Mandarin, which was fun. She’s great. It’s cool, because we took the Arrow costume and tried to make it as functional and as real as possible, so it was cool to see the next iteration of a villain. Her character’s costume… the idea that these would be real people, so seeing her in costume looks great. She’s awesome."
