'Amazing Spider-Man' Debuts 30 Minutes Of Behind-The-Scenes Footage

"The Amazing Spider-Man" is continuing its trend of releasing awesome behind-the-scenes featurettes that show us how the crew on the movie did some of its more impressive stunts. Today six new featurettes have been released that showcase almost 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, including the scene where Peter Parker hangs from the top of a subway car and fights a thug in a back alley.

We also see some new scenes teased in here, like one where a seemingly mutated man shoves a car at a policeman chasing him and another of a pretty violent library scene. And if you want to see what the Lizard looks like before he has CGI over him, you should check out the second video in this post.

There's plenty of new footage in these videos, though they're not entirely spoilery since the scenes are unfinished and we don't know how they will fit into the rest of the movie. It is exciting to see that so many effects were actually performed instead of added in after the fact with CGI, which makes us all the more excited to see some of Peter Parker's Spidey movies when this movie hits the big screen.

Starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, “The Amazing Spider-Man” focuses on Peter Parker’s journey to discover the secret of his parents’ disappearance. That brings him face-to-face with Dr. Curt Connors, played by Rhys Ifans, who ends up becoming the film’s villain, The Lizard. It’s due in theaters on July 3.
