'Arrow' Extended Trailer Teases DC Comics Supervillain

A brand new "Arrow" extended trailer has been released by The CW, and it teases something pretty exciting for fans of DC Comics. Though everyone involved with the project has stressed how little this new show has to do with "Smallville," that doesn't mean "Arrow" won't include some familiar faces from the DC Universe — and this teaser more than speaks to that point.

Watch the trailer past the jump and see if you can spot the Easter egg!

"The day I went missing was the day I died, at least on the inside," Queen's voice narrates over the trailer. "But the day Oliver Queen died was the day something new was born. I am Arrow."

A little cheesy, sure, but it's forgiven for the awesome inclusion of the Deathstroke mask near the end of the trailer, on the island Arrow was stranded on no less. Will season one build up to the grand reveal of Deathstroke? Sounds like a fantastic arc to us.

"Arrow" stars Stephen Amell, Colin Donnell, Katie Cassidy and more. It debuts this fall on The CW, airing on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Thanks to Superhero Hype for the trailer!
