YOUR FAVORITE MTV SHOWS ARE ON PARAMOUNT+

Gotham Chic: 'Dark Knight Rises' Apparel Now Available

There are many ways to show one’s love for Batman. You can show up to the midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" while dressed like Bane. You can rasterbate a photo of Anne Hathaway on your wall. You can even tattoo the Robin logo on your shoulder, in anticipation of when he’ll show up in the movie-verse.

Thanks to Warner Brothers, there’s another option: to wear as much Bat-themed clothing as possible.

Warner Bros has released a line of tie-in shirts for "Rises," now available at your local vendor. It’s pretty typical stuff: scratched gray tees featuring different versions of the Batman logo on them, a white tee with a picture of Bane’s face and "Fire Rises" printed over it, a very "Footloose" Catwoman shirt that hangs off the shoulder and says "Social Climber" in winking script on the front. You can see some in-depth photos of the merchandise over at Collider, or head right for the online store.

Look, we’d never tell you how to spend your own money. Fashion is personal, and as easily defined as "wear what makes you feel good, and haters to the left." But at $48 a pop? You may want to reconsider for what’s essentially the more tousled version of those screen printed Batman tees sold at Urban Outfitters.

Think of all the things you can buy with that: a nice meal with your significant other or someone you want to be your significant other, the goods for a one-person wine and cheese party, used copies of "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City." The possibilities are endless for the consumer who doesn’t drop half a c-note on a tank top that points pink lightning bolts at his or her nethers.

It’s up to you, of course. The shirts aren't bad-looking, just pricey. That said, the Bane mask pictured in the photos at Collider is pretty nifty. What better way would there be to turn up at a high school reunion?

"The Dark Knight Rises" is out on July 20.
