Joss Whedon, 'Avengers' Cast Assemble On Twitter

There's lots of hype to be had for "The Avengers," which mercifully comes out in just a few months. It's hard to wait, though, which is why Marvel Studios is placating our desires with a special Global Twitter Chat to be held tomorrow (January 31) at 11 a.m. (PST).

For thirty minutes, you'll be able to ask questions of writer/director Joss Whedon, as well as cast members Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), as well as score a bunch of other "Avengers" goodies. (Make sure to ask Hiddleston how he gets Loki's pale sheen juuuuust right. Is it lack of sunlight?)

According to the press release, you can participate by asking questions towards the @Avengers handle while using the #Avengers hashtag, assuming that all makes sense to you. You'll also have the chance to see a 10-second clip of the 30-second Super Bowl spot that airs during next Sunday's Super Bowl XLVI, because this is the future and there's no preview without a preview of a preview. There will also be Avengers prizes gained through Avengers trivia, if that's your expertise.

If you haven't been keeping pace with our "Avengers" coverage, there's been news of brand new toys, Marvel cameos, and, well, more toys. "The Avengers" comes out on May 4, after which you can just hibernate until "The Dark Knight Rises" comes out, and then again until Oscar season.

Will you be joining in on the "Avengers" Twitter event? Let us know your plans in the comments section and on Twitter!
